Calendar modes control how each calendar contributes to your inbox and how much space it takes on the timeline — so a busy schedule stays readable.
Inbox mode
Include or exclude a calendar's invites from your unified inbox. Turn it off for calendars whose invites you don't need to act on, like a read-only team or holidays calendar.
Visibility mode
Keep a calendar always expanded, or set it to minimized/background mode. Secondary calendars are minimized by default to reduce visual noise; expand the ones you're actively working from.
| Goal | What to do |
|---|---|
| Focus on work hours | Minimize personal calendars temporarily |
| Hide noisy shared calendars | Set them to background mode |
| Reduce clutter | Keep holiday or birthday calendars minimized until needed |
Changing a calendar's mode only affects nocal — it doesn't change anything on the provider's side or for anyone else.
