How does the scoring work?

Each 15-minute slot of the day is scored for every participant: inside working hours counts fully, awake-but-off-hours counts half, and asleep (11pm–7am local) counts zero. The suggestions are the highest-scoring non-overlapping windows.

Does it handle daylight saving time and half-hour zones?

Yes. Cities map to real IANA time zones and all math runs through the browser's own time zone database, so DST switches, India's +5:30, and Nepal's +5:45 all come out right for the specific day you pick.

Can I search by abbreviation or offset?

Yes. Type PST, EST, IST, CEST, or an offset like UTC+8 or +5:30 and you'll get the matching cities. Off-season forms work too: PST finds Pacific time even in summer, when it's technically PDT.

Is anything uploaded?

No. City search, scoring, and the map all run in your browser. There's no account, no server call, and nothing stored.

Can I share a plan with my team?

What's the best time to meet between the US and Europe?

The reliable overlap is the US morning and the European afternoon: roughly 8–11 AM Eastern is 2–5 PM in most of Western Europe (and 1–4 PM in the UK). West Coast teams get a narrower window of about 8–9 AM Pacific before Europe signs off.

What's the best time to meet between the US and India?

India is 9.5 hours ahead of Eastern time (10.5 ahead during US winter), so early US mornings are India's evening: 8–10 AM Eastern lands at 5:30–7:30 PM in Mumbai or Bangalore, which is inside a normal extended workday on both ends.

How do I schedule fairly when there's no good overlap?

Some pairs, like California and Central Europe or New York and Tokyo, have almost no shared working hours. Keep those meetings short, rotate which side takes the awkward slot, and use the amber windows here (someone off-hours, nobody asleep) rather than always burdening the same region.
